Möbius strip is sometimes referred to as an “impossible shape’’. It exhibits interesting properties, such as having only one side and only one boundary curve as well as remaining in one piece when split down the middle.
Although its discovery is attributed to the German mathematicians Johann Benedict Listing and August Ferdinand Möbius in 1858, similar structures can be seen in Roman mosaics c. 200–250 AD
Möbius strips are used in continuous-loop recording tapes, typewriter ribbons, computer print cartridges, electronic resistors, and even conveyor belts.
The continuum of a Möbius strip is an example of how we experience time in a nonlinear way.
Instructions: give the strip an odd number of half-twists, and then connect the ends back together.
Dimentions: 35,5 x 4 x 0,3 cm
